Joint investigation finds Botswana allegations bogus

Alongside Omnia Strategy LLP, an international law firm founded by Mrs Cherie Blair CBE QC, Alaco today released the findings of its investigation into allegations of money laundering against former President Ian Khama of Botswana and the South African businesswoman, Ambassador Bridgette Motsepe. The Omnia / Alaco investigation focused specifically on allegations contained in an affidavit submitted by the current Botswana government in criminal proceedings in that country. Alaco and Omnia have concluded that these allegations were without merit, if not entirely fabricated. more >
