Alaco has once again been judged in the top 3 firms for UK Business Intelligence & Investigations firms in Chambers & Partners’ annual Litigation Support rankings, maintaining its position from last year. The firm was also ranked for its global asset tracing and recovery work. Chambers also recognised Alaco’s Director of Disputes Nikos Asimakopoulos as a ranked individual within the UK Business Intelligence & Investigations sector.
The news follows the announcement last week that Alaco placed in the top category for pre-transaction investigative due diligence.
Chambers acknowledged Alaco’s “longstanding presence in London's business intelligence and investigations market” and “proven track record for obtaining admissible evidence, witness cultivation and stakeholder mapping in anticipation of litigation.” One client interviewed for the survey commented:
"We engage Alaco to provide confidential, ethical and reliable investigations into sensitive aspects of high-value, multi-jurisdictional litigation. Alaco is very attuned to the needs of its clients and readily adapts to individual circumstances."
Another client said: "I think Alaco compare well to other firms in this space. Alaco's presentation of information to us was more operationally effective than that of others; […] Alaco's approach really helped."
Of Nikos, one client commented that he “does a phenomenal job. He really grabbed the bull by the horns and ran with it. He's intelligent, experienced, and you really get the sense he cares about supporting you in your case."
