Alaco has a vacancy for an Arabic-speaking analyst.
As entry-level members of the team, successful candidates would be expected to involve themselves in all aspects of investigative research and would be responsible for presenting written reports of their findings, under the supervision of a case manager. A high level of inquisitiveness, critical thinking and attention to detail is required, as is the ability to order thoughts in a logical and precise manner, on paper and in discussion. Although usually working as part of a team, Alaco’s analysts are often relied upon to drive research forward with minimal guidance, demonstrating the ability to solve problems and identify relevant lines of enquiry for themselves.
The role is varied and interesting. International politics and commerce are at the heart of what we do and applicants should be able to demonstrate a significant appreciation of both. In addition to a native level of spoken and written English, proficiency to at least degree level in Arabic is essential.
Candidates will be assessed via two interviews and a briefing test, all of which are held in London. Relevant language skills are also likely to be tested.
CVs should be forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org. It is crucial that applicants are able to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Due to the high volume of enquiries received, we are unfortunately only able to acknowledge those applications taken forward to interview.
